Half-Height Turnstiles are a good solution for the unmanned entrances and mid-level security requirements. Only one person is permitted to pass on each turn of the turnstile. This is achieved by four group of arms, standing 90° apart on the square cross-sectioned rotor beam. Arms have 42 mm outer diameter and a thickness of 2 mm. Advanced microprocessor controlled electronics; fine mechanics processed on CNC machines; contactless position sensing technology; hydraulic damper with adjustable damping ratio; self-centering mechanism design and rust preventing precautions are some of the main factors resulting Half-Height Turnstiles’ trouble-free, long operation life.
A locking sub-mechanism inhibits rotor’s turning backwards after 30° of rotation, forcing the passage to be completed. No vibrations and noise occur during operation, with the help of the strong hydraulic damper. Rotor, arms, body, and the top lid are AISI 304/316 Quality Mirror Polished Stainless Steel. Half-Height Turnstiles are designed to operate between -15 °C and +55 °C. Control electronics utilized in the turnstile is microprocessor controlled.
Optima high security hydraulic arm barriers are designed especially for entrance points which have a medium level of threat of vehicle attack or for the ones that have medium level security requirements.
During the patrol (tour), staff members collect location IDs and specific status events by placing their readers (GC-01) on location tags (GA-01) or event wallets (GA-02, GA-12).
